More than anything, we want our customers to be healthy. We will be conducting business with respect for state and CDC advisories for businesses of our kind in this time. Thanks to our liquor license, we are categorized as a drinking establishment, and need to follow the rules for bars and restaurants.

 

You probably know the drill by now, but here it is:

 

• When visiting Third Street Cigar, please do your best to maintain 6 feet of social distance between yourself and others at all times.

• Third Street employees will be regularly wiping down the store. We may ask you to wait at the door until another wipe-down is complete.

​

• Every purchase is a fun little dance. Bring your purchase to the counter for check-out, then relax at a safe distance. The cashier will ring you up, and you can approach again to pay as our employee backs away… Back and forth until you have what you need.

​

• Yes, you can browse, please do. But only one customer will be allowed in the humidor at a time.

​

• We think of Third Street as a social place, but not quite so much now. Use good judgement and remember that we can only allow so many folks into our store at one time. Once you have your purchase, especially if the store is getting a little busy, it might be time to head on home. We’ll miss you, but we want you to come back later in good health.

​

• And you don’t have to come into the store at all. Call ahead and pay by phone if you’d like and we can meet you at the door or your car with the cleaned product you requested.

​

• We welcome and encourage our customers to use PPE (mask, gloves) and our employees will be suited up to help keep you safe.

 

 

There are no events scheduled for Big Jack’s Lounge at present (though one or two are being carefully planned). You are welcome to order a beverage and relax in the lounge. We will have less chairs upstairs than usual, so check things out first. Again, please maintain six feet of distance between yourself and others, limit your stay, and we encourage you to ask an employee to wipe down the area before you spend time in the lounge.

 

Our standards for a healthy store may change as we go along. Third Street Cigar employees will advise you as you enter the store.
